"How the San Juan Peaks Got their Names Exhibit" opens. Most Ouray County residents are familiar with Mt. Sneffels and some of the other local peaks names but have you ever wondered where all of those names come from. Visit this exhibit to learn the history behind the names of our beautiful mountains. Exhibit runs through November 15th.

Log Hill Lungbuster Bike Challenge. A 15 mile time trial starting in the town of Ridgway and ending near the Divide Ranch and Country Club on Log Hill. Registration and entry fee of $40 which includes a T-shirt, refreshments and a grab bag of other sponor donated items. The route traverses the sub-divisions of Log Hill Village, Waterview Estates and Fairway Pines. For registration go to www.loghilllungbusterchallenge.com
