| ACTIVE SALES OF RAFFLE TICKETS BEGINS WITH THE OPENING OF THE MUSEUM. This year's raffle items include a quilt made by Ouray County women and a pen and ink drawing by John Hayes of the Mountain Top Mine's Boarding house. Raffle to be held in conjunction with the Ouray Chamber Resort Association's Octoberfest on October 4th. Raffle ticket prices are two tickets for $5 or five tickets for $10. | |

The first is a quilt hand-made by Ouray County women and patterned after an 1884 Log Cabin wall hanging owned by the museum. The second is a line-art drawing by John Hayes of the Mountain Top Mine Boarding House. Drawing will be in conjunction with OCRA's annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 4.
